"When JESUS spoke again to the people, HE said, "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.  Whoever follows ME will never walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT of life."
John 8:12

"GOD made two great lights-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.  Genesis 1:16

Since the LORD created all the light man would ever need, why did JESUS call HIMSELF THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD? John 1:1-18

At the time JESUS spoke these words, man had become totally lost in darkness.  Knowing there was no hope for mankind without HIM, JESUS came to make a way to the FATHER by bringing HIS light to the spiritually bind.

How about you, are you presently living in the light?  

So here you are, living in HIS light today, glad to know that the LORD is THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.  Ask yourself,  "What does HIS light do for me?"  You could never become spiritually mature enough to bring HIS light to this world on your own strength!

Why not call out to JESUS now - 

"LORD bring YOUR light into my heart everyday.  Please keep YOUR light shinning before me that I may walk on YOUR Path of Beauty all the way to the FATHER,  without wandering or taking time off to go my own way in these last days.  Allow YOUR light to shine through me into the darkness that the lost might see and be drawn to YOU.  Thank YOU for being THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD and THE LIGHT OF MY life!"
