Welcome to this Article on the topic of Life Is Not A Bowl Of Cherries.  Everyone wants their life to go well, to live without problems or suffering of any kind.  Many Preachers say; "If you give your life to JESUS, you will never have any serious suffering in life, your bank account will always be full and your health will be just fine."  One Preacher said; "You can tell what level of a believer you are by the balance of your checkbook today."

Regardless of a person's social, economical or religious background, Life Is Not A Bowl Of Cherries.  We all live in the same evil world where sin and sinful people are completely out of control.  Why even the best person, and that includes the most mature Christian individual alive, sins on a regular basis.  What?!  That statement is very offensive to a large number of believers.  Even so, we must put aside our pride and accept the truth of GOD'S Word even if it hurts.

1 John 1:8

"If we claim to be without sin,

we deceive ourselves and

the truth is not in us."

We also have a spiritual enemy known as the father of lies, none other then satan and his many zillions(?) of demons (fallen angels) that have sworn to destroy our lives in every way possible.  These demonic spirits constantly look for weaknesses in our lives they can exploit against us.  By the way, their attack is 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and if you haven't figured it out yet, they don't go on vacations!

Ephesians 6:12

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,

but against the rulers, against the authorities,

against the powers of this dark world and against

the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Now we have identified the origins of sin and attacks against our lives, (demonic or self).  If the attack is demonic we can usually 'smell and feel' an evil presence.  If we are responsible for our own suffering we need to open our heart and examine our lifestyle and practices, and be sure to repent where we need to.

Be sure to always take the time to know for sure who is ultimately responsible for the attack against you.  Don't get caught blaming the devil for everything.  Imagine for a moment getting all worked up and calling on GOD to squash the enemies who are attacking your life and is causing your grief and sorrow just to hear the LORD say;

"I would gladly attack the enemies against you,
I could readily destroy them by MY Mighty Power!
but if
I did I would have to attack you,
and
I have sworn by MY own Name,
to only bless and uphold you."

Well, there is the beginning to the topic of: Life Is Not A Bowl Of Cherries.

More to come next week, see you there.
