Adultery
Where do you stand on the topic of adultery?

Welcome to Page 2 on our discussion on the topic of adultery. A woman recently came to my office for counseling and asked; "Does the Scripture always demand that I obey my husband in all things?" When we got down to specifics, she told me her husband would bring home his young secretary and demand his wife would get into bed with them and obey everything she was told to do! :After all, The Bible says you have to obey me!" Try to imagine her emotions when she was informed that she did not have to obey her husband in his sin by her Pastor. By the way, I was the third Pastor she had visited in a month, the other two Pastors, agreed with her husband's views and sent her home to him and his secretary. Regardless of what society views
as proper sexual behavior in and out of marriage,
GOD'S
Word is the one and only authentic blueprint. To the point - If you
are married and 'playing the field', What can you expect from GOD? You say; "GOD is love, HE will wink at my sin." The fact is, GOD is love, and HIS judgment is filtered through HIS love, and yet, GOD is just as well. Galatians 6:17, once again quoting the AMP.

If you have been part of the PraiseNation
Family of Believers for any length of time, you know we are firm
believers in GOD'S grace. We
staunchly disagree with Legalism, (the honoring of the teachings of the O.T. Laws above the N.T.) in order to be right before GOD.. Grace
is above the Law, although at the same time, grace is not a license to
sin. Romans 6:1-2 Luke 1-37 Now to as those choices you can make, take a look below: Do
nothing. Stay
the way things are presently. Attend
your own marriage ceremony. Become
separated from the one you are living with. Join
a Convent! :) Whatever you think after
reading this Article, I want to encourage you to follow one of the suggested above
choices, even the funny one (#5)! Just make a decision! Not making
a decision is not credible and is just hiding from what your heart is
telling you. You will have all the assistance you need from the LORD. Don't be embarrassed to ask HIM for help in prayer.
