Here are a few Scripture examples of the great importance and blessing of GOD'S Word when you come to read it and apply it to your life each day:

Proverbs 30:5

 "Every Word of GOD is flawless, HE is a shield to those who take refuge in HIM.

 

AND

Matthew 4:4

 "JESUS answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of GOD.'"

 

 AND

Luke 8:21

 "JESUS replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear GOD'S Word and put it into practice."

 

 AND

Acts 20:32

 "Now I commit to you GOD and to the Word of HIS grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."

 

 AND

2 Timothy 3:16

 "All Scripture is GOD-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of GOD may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

 


The serious, and dedicated Follower of JESUS moves far beyond simple paraphrases about the book, that are often far from the truth.  GOD'S Word is much too important to be misquoted for the sake of convenience or to look knowledgeable in front of other people.  One true quote of authentic Scripture will do much more work in the lives and hearts of those listening than a hundred incorrect paraphrases.
