The disciple of CHRIST does not serve HIM part time, when it 'feels good' to do so, but with all their heart and devotion. JESUS does not have any part time disciples.

Many people say that they love the LORD and happen to be a disciple of HIS. If this is true, there will be obvious evidence in their life that displays the cost of being a disciple of CHRIST. Since Being A Disciple Of JESUS Is Expensive, serving the LORD is not a one or two day a week relationship. As a matter of fact, going to church once or twice a week is a joy and proof of a desire for fellowship, not discipleship. The disciple of CHRIST is not only required to serve the LORD 7 days a week, but they want to serve HIM with all their heart. When a Pastor preaches commitment and service to a true disciple of CHRIST, it is like the saying; "You are preaching to the choir." The true disciple already knows that Being A Disciple Of JESUS Is Expensive and they are delighted to daily pay the price through devotion and service.
The distinction between 'want to' and 'have to' serve as a disciple of CHRIST is very clear. Since Being A Disciple Of JESUS Is Expensive, be sure that you have made up your mind and made the right choice to serve the LORD joyfully, every day without taking breaks along the way. Even on a family vacation, you can easily display by your actions that you are a true disciple of CHRIST and nothing else is more important to you then the joy of living for HIM.
