This title, Victoria's Secret! happens to be the name of a world-wide woman's sexually exotic Lingerie Corporation.  (In this article names will be changed to protect the innocent)  Every woman in the world has a secret, something they have done in their past, or was done to them that they are sorry for, or worse, ashamed of.

By now you have the idea, regardless of your name you have a secret in your past that hounds you every time you think about it, or in some cases this secret comes frequently to your mind causing embarrassment and shame.  Such emotions may even cause you to 'act out' in self-destructive ways.

Here's the thing.  You may be responsible, brought about the secret by your own acts of indiscretions or you may be the victim of another person's bad acts.  Whatever your personal circumstances happen to be, one day hopefully very soon, you will come face to face with the secret that is tormenting you.  "The sooner, the better."

You do not have to live as a slave to your past, you were not created to be tormented by your past whatever you secret happens to be.  There is a day coming when everyone's secret will be revealed.  

How much better would it be for you to deal with your secret today?  Since everything you have read up to this point is true, what can you do about your personal situation?  The answer is the same for everyone:  Only the LORD JESUS CHRIST can set you free from your past, secrets and all!  You may have prayed about your secret in the past, maybe more than once and so far you find yourself still enslaved.  Don't give up!

If that describes you, please don't cave in.  You have no reason to suspect that today is not the day the LORD will set you free from your past.  The important thing is, do not come before HIM today expecting nothing to happen.  Don't give up just because your emotions tell you that your stuck with your secret because there is no hope for you.
