Trust HIM,
HE
Won't Let
You Fall!

Men and women of GOD often are too concerned, driven by fear that they may fall from the Way by dishonoring the LORD due to personal sins.  The Scriptures gives Followers of JESUS confidence that GOD'S love and commitment for them is never an off and on again standard.

Jude 1:24 (a)

"To HIM who is able to keep you from falling . . . . "

As hard as it is to imagine, the LORD takes away the fear of failing HIM.  Everyday we are alive we sin, honestly, much too often some days.  The mature Believer most often feels their shame, even the conviction of the HOLY SPIRIT during their acts of sin.  A great struggle between good and bad, holiness and sin, takes place within the heart of the one who desires above all other things to serve the LORD and do HIS will.

Romans 7:20-25

"Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.  So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.  For in my inner being I delight in GOD'S law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.  What a wretched man I am!  Who will rescue me from this body of death?  Thanks be to GOD—through JESUS CHRIST our LORD!  So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to GOD'S law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."

This rescue through JESUS CHRIST does not qualify a Believer to live however they choose to live without consideration of the consequences of their acts of sin.  Paul well knew the differences between sin and grace and properly explained it in Romans 6.

Romans 6:1-3

"What shall we say, then?  Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?  By no means!  We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?  Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into CHRIST JESUS were baptized into HIS death?"

Humbling yourself, acknowledging the war waging inside of you that you at times give into all too often drives you to confession.  As you confess your sins to the LORD, you allow HIM to pick you up again, and receive HIS deliverance and healing.

1 John 1:9

"If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.'"

Forgiven and  purified from your sins on a daily basis, you have the confidence to willfully serve your LORD.  Now you are beginning to realize the great love GOD has for you in spite of your personal faults (sins).

1 John 3:1 (a)

" How great is the love the FATHER has lavished on us, that we should be called children of GOD!  And that is what we are!'"

Even as you contemplate on the truth that you are not personally worthy of HIS great love and care, you come face to face with your responsibility to trust HIM to do all HE has promised.  Trust is a big word, easier said than done.  Let me share a story with you of a man who fell off the edge of a mountain and found himself hanging onto a small branch temporarily keeping him from falling to his death -

In extreme desperation, he called out; 'Hello, is there anybody who can hear me and help me?!"

JESUS
called back to him; "Yes, I can help you."

"Who are you?", the man calls out.

"It is JESUS, let ME help you."

The man is excited and yells; "Yes, LORD, I knew I could count on YOU, what do YOU want me to do?"

JESUS
said to the man; "Just let go and I will catch you."

The desperate man yells as loud as he can;

"Is there anyone else who can help me?!"

At times our nature looks to trust in man and worldly things to rescue us in our hour of need instead of instantly turning boldly to the LORD for help.  Today is the day to turn things around in our lives and always look  to GOD first.

Trust HIM, HE will not let you fall -

Jude 1:24(b)

". .  and to present you before HIS glorious presence without fault and with great joy.'"
