This title, Playboy! happens to be the name of a world-wide men's pornographic magazine!  Playboy can also describe a man who lives a life wholly devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasures above everything else in their life.

The sensual playboy lives to constantly experience forbidden sexual relationships with any person or fetish they will sexually satisfy them.  Such an individual searches every day for new partners or experiences in many different places such as the net, taverns, clubs and even the local Church.  One playboy told me that if you looked around and did not find a woman to take home, go to Church on a Sunday night.  He knew how to act and behave that made him very attractive to lonely women. 

Many playboy's claim to be Christian's even though the Word of GOD disowns lifestyles of perversion and lusts. 

I Corinthians 5:9-11

"I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people--not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters.  In that case you would have to leave this world.  But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler.  With such a man do not even eat."

 

Paul presented the following list in 1 Corinthians, Chapter 5 of those 'who call themselves brothers but happen to be'

the sexually immoral

|greedy
an idolater
a slanderer
a drunkard
a swindler

With such a man do not even eat.


Dedicated Followers of JESUS do not live the kind of lives described above.  Nobody is perfect, and everyone no matter how dedicated to the LORD sins each day.  But when a true Believer sins, they confess their sins to the LORD and instantly receive their forgiveness and cleansing and start fresh all over again according to 1 John 1:9 as an example.

Nearly everyone has been on 'the list' at one time or another in their life.  The list clearly describes the old nature, the one lived before they put their faith in JESUS' Name.  The Christian life is one that has been delivered from the person who was once controlled by such willful sins.

If you find yourself presently living in one or more of these sins, call out to the LORD right now.  Today is the day of deliverance in your life.  You may be a true Believer but still struggle with one or more sinful lifestyles because you have yet to surrender them to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  The good news is that you can give those things to GOD right at this very moment and HE will separate them from you just as far as your soul desires.

If any of these things describe you, allow the LORD to take them from you, don't wait another hour or day, don't be- 'With such a man do not even eat.'
