Everyday all around the world people lose things that they need or are important to them.  You have never witnessed someone seriously fret until they discover they lost their car keys and are already running late to get to work or an appointment.  My advice to you is that unless you know exactly where they happen to be - Get out of the way!

You understand this concept all too well because you have lost your fair share of things yourself.  Remember the times you were frustrated when you were in a rush and searching everywhere you could think of for the car keys, house keys, paperwork at the office or even where you parked the car in a large lot.

I know a woman who drove her car across a parking lot for lunch, unexpectedly she met a close relative in a shopping mall, later hurriedly walked back to work just one block away.  An hour later looking out the window of her office she was shocked when her car was not in it's parking space. I was called to pick her up and take her to the Police Station and report her car being stolen, which we did.  On the way back to her office, we noticed her car right where she had parked it for lunch.  What an embarrassing trip back to the Police Station to inform them that the car had not been stolen after all.  And then there were her co-workers who refused to let her forget just how she lost her car.  Signs were made up showing where her parking space was and where her car was and exact directions to return it to the office.  :-)  It appears that there are very few things in life that we don't lose from time to time.
