Welcome to page 2 on the topic of making right choices in our life.

When it comes to making right choices in making close friends in our life, we need to realize that GOD has a plan for us, and that also includes the people we choose to spend the majority of our personal time with.  Such choices are more critical to our overall well being than we often think they are.

Many young Christians go to school day after day and often come home to their parents and tell them things like;  "I have now become friends with a group of kids that just so happen to be either gay, lesbian, and there is one transvestite.  These guys are all very nice.  I don't understand why the Bible says bad things about them."  

Little by little values can be changed because a choice has been made that the best of friends can be those who either do not care about GOD, or may even hate HIM and HIS ways!  Schools from Kindergarten to Universities often teach we much accept people's alternate lifestyles just as important and valid as the Believer in CHRIST.  In 1980    5 States in the US have approved gay marriage, this would have been impossible just a few years before.  American society has begun to choose and accept alternate marriages.

Don't fool yourself, acting like a sinner, to relate to a sinner through accepting their behavior as good is to become one yourself.  As you recall, JESUS spent a great deal of time around sinners without sinning with them.  HIS demonstration of right living, HIS deliberate choice to live a life that honored the FATHER caused others to want to be like HIM, to put their faith in HIM.  The Follower of JESUS is called to follow JESUS' example.

 

John 15:16  "You did not choose ME, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.  Then the FATHER will give you whatever you ask in MY Name."
