"Moses answered, "What
if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, `The LORD
did not appear to you'?" "This," said the LORD,
"is so that they may believe that the LORD,
the GOD of their fathers--the GOD of Abraham, the GOD
of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob--has appeared to you." "Then the LORD
said, "If they do not believe you or pay attention to the
first miraculous sign, they may believe the second. But
if they do not believe these two signs or listen to you, take some water from the Nile
and pour it on the dry ground. The water you take from the river will
become blood on the ground." "And they
believed. And when they heard that the LORD
was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and
worshipped." "The LORD
said to Moses, "How long will these people treat ME
with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe
in ME, in spite of all the miraculous signs I
have performed among them? "They did not
believe in GOD or trust in HIS
deliverance." "In spite of all this, they kept on
sinning; in spite of HIS wonders, they
did not believe." "I believed;
therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted." "Then they
believed HIS promises and sang
HIS praise." "Then they despised the pleasant land; they
did not believe HIS promise." "Teach me knowledge and good judgment,
for I believe in YOUR
Commands." "You are MY
witnesses," declares the LORD, "and MY
servant whom I have chosen, so that
you may know and believe ME
and understand that I am HE.
Before ME no god was formed, nor will there be one
after ME." "Who has believed
our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD
been revealed?" "The kings of the
earth did not believe, nor did any of the world's people, that enemies and foes could
enter the gates of Jerusalem." "Look at the nations and watch--and be
utterly amazed. For I
am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told." "Then JESUS

believed it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour." "When he had gone indoors, the blind
men came to HIM, and HE asked
them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
"Yes, LORD," they replied." "When they heard that JESUS
was alive and that she had seen HIM, they
did not believe it." "These returned and reported it to the
rest; but they did not believe them either. Later JESUS
appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; HE rebuked them
for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe
those who had seen HIM after HE
had risen." "But if anyone causes one of these
little ones who believe in ME
to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to
be drowned in the depths of the sea."
"At that time if anyone says to you,
`Look, here is the CHRIST!' or, `Look, there HE
is!' do not believe it."
