Romance In Marriage!

Honeymoon Years

Welcome to this Article on the topic of Romance.  This particular page discusses Romance in MarriageIt is said that the first year or two of a marriage are the honeymoon years.  During those years the husband and wife remain very attentive to one's another's emotional and physical needs, and romance flourishes.

Since more than half of all marriages do not succeed, something very unhealthy can happen later in the critical years deeply affecting romance between the husband and wife.  People can often become too comfortable, demanding, and or too sterile in their marriage by the fourth and fifth years.  Regardless of the length of a person's marriage, when romance has faded or vanished all together, the married couples future together is doomed.

How can this be true?  Since romance effects the heart and soul of a person, the emotional love a married couple possess for one another requires the ongoing presence of romance in their marriage.  A woman who had been married to the same man for more than 20 years one day asked him; "Why is it that you never even say, 'I love you'?"  Her husband looked her straight into her eyes and said; "I told you I loved you on our wedding day, isn't that enough?"  Their friends may not be attending a 21ST Anniversary celebration.  A marriage without romance becomes a marriage without love, and a marriage without love ends in divorce.  Don't give up, pay close attention to your spouses need for romance in your marriage.  You will be glad you did!
